Reward as well as train your team or colleagues

Are you looking for an away day for your organisation, a chance to improve group work skills or an opportunity to celebrate a milestone or achievement? We can offer you team sailing days on either of our 10 berth yachts Jalapeno (main picture) and Cascadeur, based in Chichester harbour and Southampton water. We also regularly call into Brighton marina. Each of these vessels has room for everyone to sit together to eat or work, as well as space on deck to handle the vessels. You can view photos and read more about our vessels at the bottom of this page.

Sail Boat Project can design a team sailing trip built around any of these aims, to provide a memorable and rewarding experience for:

  • Teambuilding activities
  • Company awaydays
  • Alternative function venues
  • Fundraising challenges
  • Rewards or competition prizes for clients
  • Fully catered or self catering

Your team sailing booking can also contribute towards our Community Sailing Fund.

We always provide a qualified commercial skipper who will be in contact with you in advance to make sure we understand exactly what you want out of your team sailing trip. We can also provide a First Mate and take care of all the catering and boat handling if you want to run an event that you need to be free to concentrate on, or you can get more involved for a hands on experience.

No previous sailing experience is required.

Skippered Charter

Skippered charter means that we provide a commercial skipper who can take care of all the boat handling. You can be as involved as you want, something we will agree with you in advance depending on the activities you want to be engaged in. We can arrange for your skipper to visit you or your group, making sure you get what you want out of your time onboard with us. This chartlet shows where our operating bases in Chichester harbour and Southampton water are. How far we voyage depends on the weather, tides and your arrival and departure times.

Yacht Equipment

mca logoAt Sail Boat Project we operate three sail training vessels, all of which are safety coded with the Maritime and Coastguard Agency for commercial use. This means they are subject to rigorous checks and well maintained. As a RYA (Royal Yachting Association) Training Centre we are also subject to annual inspections by them. This means that with skippered boat charter we can run RYA courses for you.

Our vessels are equipped with everything you need to make your trip go smoothly.

What We Provide

  • Lifejackets & safety equipment, including sailing waterproofs
  • A range of catering, from snacks through to a full buffet meal
  • Advance meetings with your skipper to tailor your activity to our vessels
What To Bring
  • Enthusiasm
  • A sense of adventure!
  • We will send you a full kit list in advance, but usually for a day sail we are talking about layers, sun cream and hats as it is always a bit cooler once we're underway on the water.

If you want to talk to one of our team either call (+44) 07576 248 348 or fill in the form below.
